NOBODY MOVE!!! THAT REEL IS MINE!!! I just put the finishing touches on my first bamboo rod build (from scratch, will post photos sometime soon on the rod building page) and that reel was put on this earth to dangle from it, so don’t even THINK about entering this month!!! Oh for a ferocious looking smilie right now!
Just kiddin of course, I will enter like everyone else under the sun probably and will gladly smile when someone else more than likely wins. They will have one sweet reel. 8)
Yeppers, Jim, you’re right… someone else besides, you or I, will win it… and while looking at it, say to themselves: “Ya’, know? THIS REEL is built pretty darn tough! I think I’ll give it to my 5 year old son to put on his “Snoopy rod”, because when he bangs it around, he may not break it as easily as he has his last 7!”
Then, he’ll fill it with 20# Stren, duct tape it to the kid’s “Snoopy rod” and off they’ll go!

I actually was a bit leery of winning it cause then I’d have to actually put it together, a daunting task to say the least.

And You two are right, It will probably go to someone like me who will hang it on my sage launch. Which is my best rod but really, it should hang on a boo. 8)
I think the worst thing would be for someone to hang it on a nice rod and then hang the combo up on a wall somewhere.
Its also Nice of Ron to also include a line to go with it.
