Tomorrow, 12-22 is a day I wait for every year, the day after the Winter Solistic, one of my favorite days. Winter Solistic is my most unfavorite day being the day with the few number of hours of sunlight. Beginning tomorrow the days will lengthen a little each day for approximately the next 6 months in the number of days of sunlight they have.
Now Uncle Jesse don’t yall be runinn naked thru them thar Georgia Pines on thet thar Pagan Hollerday! 
Seriously I look forward to the lengthening days myself.
Eric, if you see me running naked through the woods, quit laughing and shot whatever is chasing me. Although I did not select the lot for that reason, I am happy to report ZERO pine trees on my home lot. At my previous house that was all I had, the fell on my car, my house, got struck my lightning, which got my computer, VCR and some other stuff. Before moving to Georgia I had no strong opinions about pine trees. Now I consider them tall weeds, good for making wood products and paper. So the next time someone sends you one of the emails with save the trees on the bottom. Don’t worry about the trees, print it ifyou need a copy, make an extra in case you lose the first one, make a copy for a friend and your boss, we have a little cottage industry down here making paper and they are just pine trees.
