rib - x-fine wire gold
tail - pheasant tail
abdomen - Arizona Dubbing Light Peacock
wings - goose biots ginger
thorax - Arizona Dubbing Natural Peacock
wing post - 4mm foam cylinder chartreuse
hackle - grizzly (oversize by 1)

Part 1

mash barb; start thread, tie down rib

measure some pt fibers (gap width); tie in

taper the end of foam cylinder, tie in at 75% mark

back to the bend, dub thread, dub abdomen

counter-rib and tie off

Part 2

measure biots (a bit past the bend); tie in curving away from each other

post up the foam; tie in hackle (shiny side out, cup side up)

dub thorax

wrap hackle, high to low; let it hang on the far side, tie off at base

half hitch (at eye) x 2, SHHAN, trim post
