I do wonder what the good dame would make of that fly Hans. Her selection, I am informed, didn’t have any wound hackles. As for me that looks perfect for the brown trout lochs. As I’ve just resolved to fish them rather than “bathe” in them next time out I may just tie some up. Did you make your dubbing brush?

Yes…No…well actually, I don’t know…but based on my gut feel alone it looks like it might catch fish pretty well! It just plain looks fishy to me.
I think Dame Juliana would approve.
