cross your fingers and send up your prayers

My wife’s been out of work for over a year now, but she has a phone interview tomorrow. It’s absolutely amazing what a relief a phone interview can be. I’m afraid we’re getting to excited and putting the cart before the horse, but we really do need this. I’ll keep you posted on how it goes.

thanks,
Jason

My fingers, arms, leags and toes are crossed…and my eyes. I hope things work out Jason.

Bob

Best of luck with it!

That said, I also have to say that I always advise job seekers to try to stay very calm and balanced. Otherwise the ups and downs of a job search become a wild emotional roller coaster ride that can really wreck you. It is hard to do, but it works best in the long run.

Hope all goes well. I’ll keep my fingers crossed Jason

Jason,

I hope all goes well with the phone interview, I know you y’all have been praying hard for this day.

PS. getting excited is a good thing, makes you want it even more…good luck and keep us posted, I will say a prayer for your wife.

Hey Jason,
Prayer dropped from you faithful Mid-Tenn CCU Veep.

Ed

Good luck!
All the best.
Mike

prayer sent her way.

Jason,

I pray that all goes according to His Plan for your wife and your family. It is good to get your hopes up as long as you remember that no matter which way it goes, it was His Plan. He knows your needs and He will provide. Just keep the Faith and trust in Him to come through for all of you. Keep us posted…

Jason, I just saw this post. Hope the interview went well. God bless and all the best to you and your family. Jim

First thanks for all of you prayers and well wishes, it means alot.

Second, the phone interview went well. However, we’re a little bummed because it was with someone in Chicago and we live in middle TN. the person in chicago apparently does this for the company and was going to forward her info on to the supervisor here in TN. The supervisor is on vacation though and won’t be back till next week. I suppose that is just how big companies do things, but we thought we were going to get a little more one on one attention. I guess we are just naive, but that seems to be the way the world is going. So anyway, maybe we’ll hear something good next week. I’ll be sure and post here as soon as I know anything.

thanks again,
Jason

Jason,

You have hit the nail on the head. That is exactly the way big companies do things, they need one person to supplement their workforce of many. You and your wife on the other hand see that half of your family needs a job, a year ago. It is much higher on your priority list than theirs. Just keep praying and preparing, just never pray for the Lord to give you patience. Ask for wisdom, courage, strength, understanding but not patience.

Good luck and we will be thinking of you.

Jason, they are called “head hunters” and if the person said they were going to forward the information on you can take that as a very good thing. We’ll keep you in our prayers in the meantime.
Hugs,
LF
