Made another journey to the Crooked River in Central Oregon. Was able to catch 20 whitefish and 3 Redband Trout. The trout were released but the whitefish were destined for the frying pan.
A few pictures for you. The fish porn is an average fish from the river - just over a foot long. If you look closely you can see the nymph in the mouth of the fish. The other pictures give you an idea of the scenery aaround the Crooked River.

Glad to see that you were able to finish your whitefishing excursion! I need to make the trip down to Prineville myself, perhaps on a weekend overnighter when it warms up just a touch more.
