I enjoyed reading your report. I used to drive from Denison Tx to CB once a month for about a year before moving to CB. Lived there for a couple of years. But it has been a number of years since I was there. I recognize the bank on the Lake fork in one of your pictures.
Learned to fly fish there.
I likewise never fished Cement Creek though I have eaten at the Cement Creek Tavern a number of times.
CB what a place. 700 full time residents. Twenty plus reasturants. Most of them are excellent. I miss Power House & tequila shots, The Last Steep, Teacali Tamale, Slogars, Pitas in Paradise, Paradise Cafe, Wooden Nickel, Buffalo Grill, Marchitelli’s Gourmet Noodle, [SIZE=2]Bachanalles and La Bosque.

But ya had to drive to Montrose to find good Chinese food.
Miss the Dragonfly Angler and the Willow Fly also.
