Micro-jigs; black, white, purple, etc. Tie in rubber legs on either side just behind the head. You can control the sink rate by changing the length of the rubber legs. The longer the legs, the slower they sink.
Later in the year when the water is warmer, Clouser Minnows in size 8 and 10 on Tiemco 200R or Dai-Riki 270 hook. Lead eyes for deep water, otherwise bead chain eyes. Favorite colors: chartruese/white, grass green/white.
