Based on Artur Buczkowski’s Fox Tail Palmer; a little more flash and a bit lighter in color.

hook - Dai Riki 075 #10
thread - Uni 8/0 rusty dun
tag - tinsel gold
rib - small wire gold
body - dubbing hare’s ear
body hackle - badger
front hackle - partridge
wing - coyote

Part 1

mash barb, start thread, wrap to bend; tie in tinsel, wrap to barb and back, tie off/trim

tie in rib

dub thread/dub body

tie in hackle; wrap to bend

capture tip of hackle with rib, continue to front, helicopter end, cover with thread, trim hackle tip

Part 2

rough it up a bit

tie in partridge by tip; wrap, tie off/trim

stroke partridge fibers down/back, cover with thread

measure (tips to bend) a clump of coyote fur

tie in/trim, whip finish, SHHAN
