Coyote Hair

I was given some male coyote hair. Has anyone ever used this for anything? While the hair itself seems pretty course, there is a very heavy and thick layer of underfur.

If you have used this, what, if you don’t mind sharing, have you used it for?

Thanks in advance

Any chance you would have any pics of the minnow patterns?

Bill…relative to this post and the other one on spinners…re: picture size…I think photobucket gives you some choices…maybe it depends on where you start originally but for me the size you posted is what I get when I chose their smallest one …for me the next size up gives a nice display and not too big for the forum…

rookie,

I have a complete coyote pelt. It makes some really great clousers!

Thanks guys,

I was talking to a friend this evening, an avid hunter, seems to have an endless supply of items. I have a liitle bit of coyote, but he says he hunts them all the time. I was trying to see what others with the experience used them for.

I use coyote tail/rootbeer crystal flash for Clousers - works real well for trout (crayfish??)
