nice ties Byron, have you ever tried that type of wing in a down wing configuration, looking at the shape of the wings of the one in the background, it looks to me like this would be perfect for a caddis imitation if placed in the down wing position

yup, im thinking snowshoe underwing with wood duck over. whats the technique ?

Just tie them in normally upright and then guide them down and to the rear as you tie down the butt ends.

thanks ill give it a try, as soon as I get done with the other experiments. looks like ill have plenty of time , the high today is supposed to be 20, that’s really not thay bad if you live in Montana, but for Arkansas its record breaking. any way, thanks for the help
