Corn kernel fly

I hope I am posting this in the right spot, if not please feel free to correct me.

I am on the search for a corn kernel fly recipe. I live in central Florida and would like to catch some mullet on a fly. I think they would be a blast on a 3 or 4wt. Any suggestions would be a great help.

Thanks

Try a Y2K Bug. It can be tied in a variety of colors, but I tie in yellow and orange. Here is a vidio, but you may want to tie it with less weight.

It is used a lot for pellet fed stockers and carp, as well as, as an egg pattern.

The Y2K is what I am tying now. I have changed the bead size, even removed the bead and it still needs something different.

Should be pretty easy. Just pile up some yellow dubbing on an egg (scud) hook. Or, tie a small yellow Globug. Or, just glue a yellow craft pom-pom on a small hook (or a white one, and color it with a Prismacolor marker). Or, cut small squares of yellow 2mm or 3mm foam and glue them on a small hook.

a local favorite is to take a hunk of yellow sponge and tie it on a heavy egg hook and once the thing is in the streams it has a ton of weigh tim sure scaleing up would be no issue either
