Cordova Alaska?

I am going to Cordova Alaska this year, and i am going to bring my*BRAND NEW 8 WEITGHT 8) * fly rod(not a very spendy one, but for a 14 year old… holy cow, it was over 100 :stuck_out_tongue: )and i was just wondering if anyone could tell me what i should be prepared for, i have been to alaska before, but with spincasting… and 500 feet down… and caught 150 lbs of pinks and halibut in 2 days 8)

The Copper River has a good run of salmon. Steelhead…? I think the road from town goes that far…?
