Ok, here’s a picture of my fishing room.
I tie at the desk in the far left hand side of the room. All of the drawers in the desk are filled with fly tying materials, while the rest of my tying materials are in the closet at the far right. The closet has shelves pretty much from floor to ceiling.
Pretty clean looking, huh? Now, do I win, or loose?

Okay. Okay! You guys are killing me!
So, here’s a picture of how my desk looks right now, and has for the past few days while I’ve been been working on a new articulated streamer pattern. (I took the other picture a bit earlier.) My tying desk is actually a slant top secretary’s desk. The top was up in the earlier picture, and here it’s open when I tie flies.
The flies that I’ve been tying recently are articulated streamers about 5" - 6" long.
And here’s a picture of my best friend, with one of the trout he caught on a similar streamer I had tied the last day we fished together on the Yellowstone this past September. In 2 days fishing, he landed about 30 trout on that streamer pattern, the majority of which were over 17". This rainbow was 21" as I recall. (The haze in the background was from the fires in the mountains shown in the background.)

Wow, thats got to be a winner. Everything inside the desk is even the same color.
