Conranch CREE JV Hen Saddle

I have a CREE JV Hen saddle that has remained untouched for 3 years now. Must not need it…but I am always in the hunt for other materials. Don’t want to sell it…rather trade.

Interested let me know.

Some wood duck flank or barred wood duck? Or, white dall sheep with some bison skin pieces?

Well now…the wood duck has my attention. I do use quite a bit of it through the year. Hmmmmm?..

That is cree?

I was asking the same thing…

Was not going to say anything myself, but sure looks like a dirty barred ginger variant to me. Surprised Denny labeled it “cree” considering how precise he used to be in his definition.

Here is the neck folks…remember, its a JV Hen.

I have 3 boxes of Mustad 37160 hooks (50 count) I would trade. Would throw in a starling skin as well.

A Cree rooster is much more pronounced. As is a mature cree hen. The “JV” Hen, is a “juvenile” hen. Slightly more subdued in color, but the hackle to me is a cross between a Whiting Brahma and Metz hen neck. I like it alot, but the saddle is for larger patterns than the vast majority of my wet patterns. Figured somebody else could put it to better use.

Dub, I’ll pass on the hooks, but got anything else to add to the Starling?

20" x 4" patch of Blue Wildebeest? With some mane attached.

deal!!!

Send me your address and I will send them out Monday. Float fishing tomorrow. You can send them after you check out my materials.

Sounds good. Will do now.

Thanks,

Ralph

Ralph. Glad you found a home for your juvy hen saddle. I responded before I read this thread in its entirety so disregard my PM. Maybe we’ll have a chance to trade something else sometime.

Allan

Allan, sorry. We can be certain of that.
