Way to go Peter!!!

I have seen the work Peter does both with a camera and one the tying bench, top of the line stuff.

Congratulations,

Alberto

Hi Peter,

I’d like to add my congrats as well.
As Alberto said, you do tie a mean fly and
produce a darned good likeness with your
camera. Well done sir.G Warm regards, Jim

Good One Peter. Well done. Jax

Getting Old has it’s advantages. It slows you down just enough to get your timing for tightening into a trout Just Right.

Peter,

Congratulations on a job well done. I have always admired your flies for their fish catching abilities and their simplicity in tying them. I have your web page bookmarked on my PC and go to it often to see what is new. I also use several of your flies that I have tied and they are my “go to” flies. Good job!

Congratualtions.

Well done that man.

Congrats…Peter!!! I have always enjoyed your Fly Fishing WWW site:http://www.fishingwithflies.com/

Great! Love those baby buggers.

Thanks so much! I am a bit anxious about the whole thing. Gary Soucie is the author and there are tons of recipes from fly tiers all over the world. Alberto Jimeno (also a FAOL regular) and I tied a few of the flies for Gary where he was unable to get samples from a pattern “originator”. The actual fly photos were done by Jim Scholmeyer. My photos were of various step-by-step directions and a few others. I am a bit nervious about my photos being in there with Jim’s as they are nowhere near his quality and I have learned so much more since I did them. Can’t wait to see the book, though! A couple of my favorite woolly patterns will be included. Gary emailed me last week that he was mailing a copy to me… My personal belief is that the book should sell well, as I believe that most all tiers, both novice and experienced love woollies even if they don’t admit it G.

Congratulations!

Wooly Buggers (Buggars?), no matter how you spell them or say them, are terrific patterns for catching fish!

"When in trouble, when in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout…“WOOLY BUGGERS!”

Congrats Peter. Never realized there were so many wooly buggers that an entire book could be written about them!
Your photos have always been great so I wouldn’t worry about it…

Stay tuned, we are using one of Peter’s flies for Fly of the Week next week.

Peter,
Good for you & even BETTER for me. I am a novice tier, but I absolutely LOVE wooly worms for big bluegill. I can assure you that the book will IMMEDIATELY go on my Christmas list, & if it doesn’t make it under the tree, I’m gonna go buy it.

This site’s about sharing!

A special congratulations to you Peter.

Congratulations Peter!
I will seek that book because I, too,
have a special spot in my fly box for
woolies. I tye them on the tubes.
