It’s a polypropylene yarn; lots of flyshops sell poly yarn on cards (but they don’t have the color selection CH does, if that matters to you). EP fibers are pretty much the same; just cost a whole lot more.

I will try out our local shop and see if they stock the EP fibers.
I have never used this material and I’m curious to see the final results.

The Puglisi material for dry patterns ( abdomens,wings,tufts etc…) is Trigger Point International Fibers. Like Polypro Yarn, it floats, but is much finer. It comes in a wide range of colors:

Isn’t Congo Hair the “mad scientist’s” answer to widow’s web? Which is a MFC product, maybe harder to find.
I think they’re all variations of the same material. I’ll take the pain of dealing with the Dungeon for the cost savings.
