I will be in Colorado Springs around Memorial Weekend for my son’s college graduation. I would like to take him flyfishing one day, probably May 25 or 26, or April 1 or 2, 2006. I don’t know the area. Any recommendations on a river, and a guiding service?

If it is April 1 or 2 then consider the Arkansas above Canon City. Royal Gorge Anglers in Canon City is your contact for info. Your stream selection narrows by Memorial Day due to runoff and you might be stuck with the S. Platte where it is usually elbow to elbow, especially on weekends. Allyn
