I checked the colors they offer. Holy Cow, there are some there I just have to try, and it’s a bit less thank Peasalls too. After you try that bit you bought, let me know how it works for tying. It should be very good.

I see the two sizes are Fine 100wt and Medium 30wt. If I had to relate that to thread size (3/0, 6/0, 8/0, … .) what would those two sizes be closest to?

So far it has only been a visual comparison with Pearsall, and the Fine 100wt appears to be about the same as Pearsall.
I’m not sure about the Medium 30wt, but, again I’ll try some and post the results.
I suppose that Pearsall is somewhere between 6/0 and 8/0.
