hook - TMC 2487 #16
thread - UTC 70 hopper yellow
egg sac - Uni Stretch red
abdomen - Uni Stretch yellow
overbody - midge tubing clear
wing - yearling elk bleached
thorax - dubbing yellow
hackle - ginger
indicator - McFlyfoam cerise

Part 1

Mash down barb and attach thread at head 2/3 mark; tie in tubing and wrap back halfway down the bend

tie in/wrap butt

tie in/wrap abdomen

wrap tubing; tie off/coat with the other Sally

Part 2

clean, stack, measure (extend a bit past the bend) a sparse clump of elk; tie in

tie in hackle at base of wing

tie in indicator

dub thread, dub thorax

wrap hackle (3 behind, 3 in front of indicator); tie off, trim, half hitch x 2, SHHAN

trim indicator; trim hackle underneath
