Supposed to imitate little baby chum/pink (humpy) salmon fry.
hook - Mustad 79580 #6
thread - UTC 140 tan
rib - brassie wire silver
body - pearl braid
underunderwing - Flashabou pearl
underwing - peacock swords
wing/collar - deer hair
head - deer hair spun/clipped
Part 1
mash barb, start thread; tie in rib and wrap back to bend
tie in braid, wrap to 3/4 mark; tie off/trim
counterwrap rib; helicopter end, cover with thread
tie in a few strands of Flashabou, fold back/tie down; trim (gap width past bend)
tie in a few sword fibers even with Flashabou; trim

Part 2
clean, stack, measure (tips to bend) a clump of deer (mule used here) hair; tie in, take a few wraps through the butts to lock the wing down
trim tips on another clump; tie in (2 soft loops), let it spin; tie off, half hitch x 2, SHHAN
flip it over, lay the razor blade on the eye; push straight back
final trim; after crowding the head on so many flies, I left it a bit big on this one (need to continue the body forward a little more next time)
