Christmas Morn

Christmas, my favorite time… My wish this year as always is
for lasting peace for all and a very special Christmas for all
the worlds Children, all those special girls and boys.
This poem was written for my son at Christmas time in 1993.
It was written to share and enjoy and My son don’t mind a bit…

I hope you enjoy it.

    Christmas Morn

A subtle breeze winds through the trees
crisp is the air, frost clings to leaves

Stars fade to bring a sky so clear
night?s magic past brings Christmas here

Within a house, a small pine tree,
ornate with love for all to see

The tree waits still in all its flare
for Christmas Morn, when Children stare

And in a room, Children can?t sleep
Christmas joy is theirs to keep

Night dreams come true, the magic kind
feelings to last their whole lifetime

And then that voice, they long to here
time to get up, it?s time for cheer

As little feet now hit the floor
for the tree they run, their waits no more

Young eyes stair wide, they have it all
the magic gift for one so small

Grandparents here to share the joy
first Christmas day with our new boy

Night?s magic past brought Christmas here
and our child?s love has brought the cheer

Night dreams come true the magic kind
to have a child at Christmas time

As I look back , to my young past
my magic gift forever last

Forever young, I?ll always be
On Christmas Morn, next to the tree
