Chota Nunavut II Marsh Boot

Anyone own or worn these boots? I’m considering a pair for cold weather / cold water canoe paddling and fishing. I’ve got a pair of studded felted wading shoes already and I realize these won’t be good for slippery rocks but I’m mostly thinking of paddling shoes. Any experiences? Thanks!

Diane

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming-WOW—What A Ride!

Diane, call Chota and talk to Frank or his assistant Mark…both are experienced paddlers and know what they design and sell. They will NOT give you bad information.

Thanks, LF. I’ll do that tomorrow. Mostly I’m concerned about how wide the tops are since I have calves of steel. Ahem.

Thanks again, LF. I had a good conversation with Jimmy at Chota who went and measured some boot tops for me. He was really helpful. Looks like the breathables are for me.
