Don’t worry Betty, I will sample them first to make sure they are okay for you!
Betty: It only makes sense…SWEETS for the SWEET.
Betty, when you come out here to steelhead flyfish, wifey will have made fresh walnut fudge…it may not be as good as CCP’s but it does have three kinds of chocolate in the recipe…heh, heh.
Choco cheers,

make yer own.
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
3 tablespoons heavy cream
2 cups pecan halves
Directions
- Combine the chocolate chips and cream in a medium metal bowl, and set on top of a pan of simmering water. Stir occasionally until melted and smooth. Remove from heat. Stir pecan halves into the chocolate until completely coated.
- Remove a few pecans at a time with a slotted spoon. Separate pecan halves and place onto a waxed paper lined cookie sheet. Refrigerate for 10 minutes to set.
Just got back from Henry’s. I didn’t get the chocolate pecans, but decided to try horehound drops and butterscotch drops. They had clove, too, but that isn’t really to my taste. Horehound was unusual, but not bad. Hard to describe, but I’d call it a combo of anise and hops maybe. The butterscotch was old fashioned, and unlike the common commercial stuff. Subtle and not too sweet. MMMMM!
Betty,
My wife came home the other day with milk chocolate covered carmel corn. Needless to say, it’s all gone…Best Regards…
Horehound reminds me of sassafras with it’s flavor. It is a type of mint. More here:

Don’t know how well it would go with Miss Betty’s chocolate-covered pecans.
Local (Nashville) drugstores used to sell it in “olde-timey” paper bags, all properly pre-sealed etc…
