Chocolate covered pecans ...

Ain’t NOBODY gunna touch my bag of chocolate covered pecans!! Just sayin’!!!

Nirvana

Betty,

Sounds like a bit of a challenge .

I do love pecans and I realllllllly love pecan pie, but I don’t believe I have ever had chocolate covered pecans. Do they come in dark chocolate? I really like dark chocolate.

The perfect food for us diabetics…NOT!!!..

Im allowed to have it once a year…on my birthday

i am getting some Milka from Germany on Friday.
I will share with you if you come around.

Betty
Do you eat those with the white cheddar Cheese-Its? Kind of a strange combnation, if you ask me.

Brad

Hey Betty,
My “nirvana” would be the chocolate covered pecans along with and stuck to a glob of caramel aka “Turtles”. I’m sure you will agree???

Mark

It’s strange … as much as I love cheese-its, and turtles (drool!!) and pecan pie … OMG! These chocolate covered (milk chocolate) pecans are beyond description!!

Yup! Nirvana!!

Betty,

Every year for the Holidays my sweet wife orders small bags of chocolate
covered carmel pecan turtles for our neighbors.

Just the right mixture with lots of pecans.

Always have a few bags left over, in fact there there is one partial
bag under my desk next to the mothers cookies right now…

Thanks for the reminder:D

Good stuff!

I had chocolate covered pecans once and I loved them. Don’t remember where they came from but sure have never been able to find any around here since.

Steve I would be willing to bet that those Mothers cookies under your desk are Iced Animal cookies.

Rocky

Rocky,

Now you knew they were frosted no other kind for me.

Hay little girl I know the way to your heart now…

We have a little small town candy store to the southeast a bit that makes some really good candy, including chocolate covered stuff like you’d never imagine. In addition to the cashews, pecans, and other normal fare, they have covered orange slice candy, gummy bears, sour drops, etc. Strange but delicious. In fact, I’ll be going through there on Tuesday…

Not just any candy store

This is the place where my wife gets the carmel pecan turtles…

It is in Ennis Mt.

Last time I was in Ennis I stopped at the local butcher shop and bought some great beef sticks, but I wasn’t aware Ennis had this candy store. I will have to seek it out the next time I cruise through the area.

Larry,

As you get into town coming from Idaho on the right side three doors down from the grocery store.

We make the trip every time we are in Island Park

As several of you have revealed a weakness for pecans, chocolate and even carmel. Go over the Cracker Barrel restaurant and get you a box of Goo Goo Cluster Supreme all of that and a little marshmallow thrown in also. One of the many fine product to come out of the great State of Tennessee.

Betty delight’s got me thinking about a place I go to in Columbia, CA for some of the best candies going.

Betty;
Next to Tim’s Fly’s and Lie’s over in Lynchburg, TN is a very large pecan tree. Last time Joe V was here we had to help him fill a shopping bag with pecans before he would go fishing!!

There’s a neighbor lady and her husband around the corner from me, who started selling homemade hand dipped chocolates at Christmas time, a few years ago. It turned into a small basement operation, when the demand grew. And grew. This couple is pushing 80 years old, and had to bring in the kids to help out. They’ve shipped out several hundred lbs. of chocolates, all over the US this year. Betty, you’d better hope that you never get hold of some of her pecan brittle. It’s more addictive than potato chips, and a lot, (I mean a LOT) better than peanut brittle.
