CHICAGO WHITE SOX WIN WORLD SERIES

CONGRATULATIONS

Mark

Congrats Chicago FANS it was a good season.
Congradulations Houston on a Very Hard fought series. You’ve earned respect.

I think this was the first year in awhile that the winner of the Series was not a wild card.

Mike

I am happy to hear they won and ended there losing streak. I am happy for any team that wins except the Yankees.

I really enjoy watching teams win that have not won in awhile. Actually, either team winning would have pleased me, so CONGRATS to the Sox, & I’m happy for the fans in Chicago…I hope one of my all-time favorite Sox players was there…anybody remember Minnie Minoso?? WHAT a player he was!..He and Al Smith never seemed to age!!

I am a Cleveland Indians fan, and I dream of an Indian/Cubbies World Series…As much as I love my Tribe, I would LOVE to watch Ernie Banks join in the winners’ celebration in the Cubs locker room…THAT man epitomizes EVERYTHING good about sports!! Obviously, Ernie is my all-time favorite player…talent AND character!!

This site’s about sharing!

The last 5 days have been sheer agony, as I have had to watch my dear Astros, lose.

congrats sox fans. it was a well earned victory.

ohiotuber, we stayed up late here watching our team and city celebrate.

Minnie Minoso was in fact there, they interviewed him during the post game celebration.

What a stressful series, a single swing of the bat could have changed the outcome of any of those games (6 run difference in 4 games).

Please don’t remind me.

It looked like Phil Garner was the only one wearing an Astros jersey that had the passion to win. Too bad we couldn’t let him hit.

White Sox fans ~~ enjoy ~~ you deserve it.

I feel for the Astros, but you deserve it after beating the Cards, and now you know what we felt like last year after getting swept by the Red Sox.

A bum-legged old man and a drunk. That’s all you got?
That’s WHAT I got.

Since the Yankees were not in it, it was a World Series which never took place.

Okie it was agony,Seeings how I was raised in Houston and watched the Astros from the cheap seats after watching the dome built.
BUT WE FINALY GOT THERE.That makes me proud.

Hey there Pete;
It would be nice to know that you FORGOT to add a “smiley” to your post.
Very few teams make it to “the dance” by luck. It takes skill, passion and team spirit, traits that I would hope you recognized in this years participants.
