The Satchel has plenty of room for fly boxes etc. There are even loops and spaces on the shoulder strap for item that you use all the time. All in all I have found it to be very well laid out.
As I said the nicest thing is that you can keep it fully loaded with what you will need for fishing all the time like a vest, and then when the moment of fishing arrives you just throw it around your shoulders and go. It was designed for the minimalist according to William Joseph?s site.
Now as I said, I wouldn?t put out $74.00 for it but they are on eBay all the time for a reasonable price.

I’ve looked at all the FishPond and Orvis stuff for the past few years and just went through their current models at the local fly shop a few days ago. I would tell you about the brand and models I prefer, but then JC would feel the need to post behind me reminding everyone that they are not an FAOL sponsor and never will be allowed to be. I’ve learned my lesson.
