cheap 3 weight

Looking for a cheap($110) 6-1/2’ to 7’ 3 weight. Thanks!

The Cabela’s Three Forks is a very good casting rod. At $50 it casts like a rod costing many times more. I’ve owned 4 of um. I gave one away to a friend who wanted to try ffing. When showing him how to cast with the rod and realizing what a great caster it is I knew I’d made a mistake. I immediately bought another.

Here’s a link to the rod.

Why 4? Do they break easy?

A little more $$ than what you were looking for but a good deal right now:

Good luck shopping.

For a bit more, you could get the 6’6" 3wt St. Croix Imperial and the lifetime warranty that comes with.

Seek out closeout deals on the Redington RS4 3wt. Many sporting goods stores have them on sale now for around $100 to $150. Worth every penny. Lifetime warranty through Redington (part of Sage on Bainbridge Island, WA). I have this rod in several weights as primary rods or as backup to my Sage collection.

Nope…Mine have survived direct hits by dumbell weighted clousers and more beadheads than I can imagine. If you want a good, cheap combo, 3 forks is it…

I agree on the 3 forks. I have an older one, they have since changed but I am not sure if the newer models are just cosmetic changes. great casting rod.

No…given way, traded and 1 was replaced cuz the reel seat came off (a problem on very early models).
Tuff little rod.

I actually had a older maroon 3 forks and sold it before ever really fishing with it. I think i am going to get another. Thanks!
