Chat Room Tonight

Let’s don’t forget, I’ll be hosting the chat room tonight from 7-9. Last Tuesday we talked about everything from ice fishing to favorite recipes. Bring your favorite subject matter and we’ll hash it over. How about, what we did for Christmas?
C’ya 2-nite,

Let me say folks, this fellow Lotech can chew the fat in chat…

How did it go , I staggered in ,got ignored and left with my tail between my legs… Felt right at home:)

Steve;
Sometimes the “Moofies” let people into the chat room but keep them invisible so no one knows they are there! If your name was shown on the list you should have been seen and acknowledged!

It got real quiet around 9:30, I think everyone was asleep so I quietly said good night and left.

I’m on from 6 to 8 PST Sunday and entertain a much more rowdy bunch:D

Steve, I acknowledged you with 3 posts right away. I’m wondering if the moofies kept your question from posting, because that’s where there was about a 5 minute lull in the conversation, then fsst! you were gone.
DARNED MOOFIES

Steve, there was a fairly extensive moofie attack right around when you left. When you left I got a dump of about twenty posts all at once, including the one of you leaving, but three more of your posts after the software said you left. Then three or four people left, came back, and most left again.

Ok I’ll bite, what the hay is a Moofie?

is it like a gremlin , or muffler bearing…

An internet “Grimlin” Steve and they are having a field day in the Chat Room! I even ended up in Cleveland one evening!!

There are many species of moofie that can be found in the chat room. The most common one is rather small and kind of greenish. It kicks people out of the room and then lets them back in. Sometimes it just makes them vanish off of the list of people in the room, but they are still in the room.

There is another one, a little larger and sort of reddish, that makes people’s posts, or sets of posts, appear multiple times, usually 4. Sometimes it will take whole blocks of chat and repeat them up to 9 times.

There is another one, very small, innocuous, and kind of yellow, that waits until someone leaves (usually Z), and then repeats EVERY SINGLE post they have written since they entered the chat room, in reverse order, all at once, AFTER they exit the room.

The medium sized blue one just locks up the whole fraking room for five or ten minutes at a time, and smells so bad that people leave and don’t come back. In some cases it kicks out every single person in chat all at once and doesn’t let them back in for ten minutes. That is the one I think showed up last night.

And the large purple one just keeps you out of the chat. Foo met that one last night and fought it for twenty minutes before overcoming it. TomS was, unfortunately, not as successful, and we haven’t seen him for many weeks.

You don’t want to know about the dread pink moofie.

Sounds like we need a new rug in the chat room,

Steve,

We have been asking and asking and asking and asking…

Larry —sagefisher—

Sort a like beating a dead horse!!

Call coit!

I thought it was because I had bad breath last ime I tried it.

I’m most sorry you were treated that way Steve!

Steve, I’m most sorry you met with this , what shall we say glitch?
IMO, you’re a most honorable member and deserve better.

I don’t believe he was treated that way. I’m sure he was moofied. No one that I know, that was in the chat room at that time would treat anyone like that.

So what happened Lotech skills? I’m of the opinion this moofie, whatever, is not applicable in this instance.
Let’s up those tech skills!

bobbyg, it’s not my call. Ron Tidd is the geek with the answers, and I don’t think he’s even listening any more. I just want the chat to continue to be a positive connection between friends. There is definitely a problem with the way the chat room works. So please don’t blame me. I’m just the host trying to facilitate the continuation of something good. Not the guy who’s trying to exacerbate something that isn’t.

are you always the back end of a mule?
