Nice tutorial Norm. You can also make the body by wrapping braid over the sticks after they are lashed to the hook.

yes you can

some of the patterns use different colors (red, green, yellow, blue etc) of body braid as an underbody that will the come through the pearl mylar piping overbody

you can see the effect in this photo but that charlie was looking for

What did you use to shape form? Scissors, knife, sandpaper?

i use scissors to cut the pick to length (soft wood) and then just whittle the pick to shape with a utility knife.
