Central Washington Fish In 2011

I’m going, I’m going, I’m going!!! I got all my CE done online, so I don’t have to head to Helena for the conference that weekend!
I may also potentially be bringing a friend with from here in Havre. It’s his birthday that Saturday if I’m not mistaken, so it should be a good trip for him too (as long as his schedule doesn’t change).

I can’t even beging to tell you all how excited I am to join you!

Thanks–along with all the fish mentioned thus far, I’ll drop a hint as to where my favorite fishing is for trophy Carp and the area is centered on a Central Washington town that starts with an E. Thus far I’ve pushed the 30 lb mark around severely but need to break it and if any place is right for this Central Washington is that place. Besides those basalt shelfs make such nice wading flats!

Also for Huge carp try the potholes reservoir, especially the pot holes on the east side of the lake. There is also good crappie fishing near the dam. Moses lake has some good fishing too but I haven’t fished it for 20 years.

Ooooooooo, I’ll throw in my 6wt for carp then too! I’ve got a bunch of new carp flies that I’m dying to try!
