Fish caught: 5 Bluegill, lost/missed one more
Lure used: “SHWAPF” fly & 5wt fly gear
I fished during lunch. It was cold out…but the fish were somewhat active, and certainly fought very well!
Nice gill FishnDave, I need to remember to
try for gill more whilst lmb fishing…I usually
need to use smaller flies and the bigger lmb
surprise me sometimes and my 5wt. gets a
good workout at times.

Very nice Dave. Bluegills are just about my favorite fish in the whole world. I’m looking forward to some nice days.
After yesterday’s wind/snowstorm, looks like we’ll finally be getting some decent weather (50’sF) by mid-week.
Bluegills ARE a lotta fun!
