Naw! I’m not going to show you a bunch of cell phone pictures. I am going to reveal yet another aspect of my ignorance.
My daughter asked me what she has to do to send cell phone pictures by e-mail, and I couldn’t tell her. So. He’p me. He’p me. What’s involved. Do you have to connect to a computer to send pics? Does it require software? Does it cost a lot of money or minutes? Any help you all could give would be appreciated.
Well first once you find the image you wanna send, hit options and send or just send if its right there. Then in the To: area, type the email you want to send it to. Simple enough eh?
I have a different method. My phone has a microsd chip port. Which is smaller than a dime and holds 1gb of memory. Just take the chip out once you take your photo, put it in the bigger chip, and if your computer has a port for it, put it in and drag and drop to your computer. Check to see if your cell phone has a port for it.
Thanks Panfisha. I’ll pass it along.
I don’t know which company is your provider but the company I work for it comes out of your text messaging. If you don’t have a package then it is charged as a text message.
it really depends on what kind of phone you have. for my RAZOR cell phone i select the picture hit send press options, entry mode, then select “abc” and then just type in the email address. but for my old phone it was much simpler. just hit send and instead of typing in a number just type in the email address. took me a while to realize about the “entry mode” thing.
read the manual :D:D
Are you kidding!!?? I had college textbooks shorter and easier to read than my cell phone manual! I just keep pushing buttons til the right thing happens or somebody answers in a language I don’t recognize at which point I hang up and hand the phone to the nearest small child who then takes about five seconds to figure it out.
Just call this guy.

Create “New Contact”. Under it will be a spot for an e-mail address.
You are done.
yep.
easiest way for sure.
Thanks again for the replies troops. I’ll track her down and give her the scoop.
I know that someone said that it is the same as sending a text message. On my account text messaging is one charge and data messaging is another. It cost a buck to send a picture if you don’t have the data package. I know it doesn’t cost the service provider that but they get you at every corner if you don’t buy the fancy package for you phone.
The point is, make sure you know what the costs are from YOUR provider before you let the kid send pictures to all of their friends and then you end up with a bill that you could buy your next fly fishing outfit with because you didn’t know that they were charging you an arm, a leg and a fly fishing outfit to send a few pictures.
