[LEFT]April 25, 11 am, Gates Au Sable Lodge, in the “casting” field. [/LEFT]
[LEFT]We’ll have a large tent and a number of chairs for folks to be comfortable in, but I’d also recommend wearing “weather specific” clothing if the weather is nasty. Waders will be optional (that will be hendrickson time after all!). Food and drinks will be served sometime around noon. After that: relax, converse, go fishing, celebrate the river and Rusty in whatever way seems appropriate The Anglers of the Au Sable is sponsoring and organizing this event.

Thanks for letting us know about this. Bill and I plan to make it up for this! Rusty did so much for all of us, when he started the fight for the AuSable. It’s definitely right that we should honor his actions and his life, he was definitely a friend to all fly fishing enthusiasts.
Also, don’t forget that this year’s Michigan Fish In will include the dedication of the memorial bench for JC.
