This rod is for a guy that plans to use it for some big channel cats in a pond. It’s gonna be a workhorse rod so he said just plain jane is all he needed, but you know me, I have a hard time making a plain jane rod lol. So I went with a 10ft 10wt 4pc IM7 dark gray blank. Full wells grip with wood trimmed accent ends and a matching butt with wood trim. Reel seat is a all aluminum double lock nut seat. Guides are single foot guides but I did the locking wraps on them so they will for sure stay put under the stress of a bug cat. Wraps I did Classic twist red&black gudebrod (CP’ed) with metallic red trim.
