with very intense sound this morning to shatter a kidney stone. A common procedure, they knocked me out and shot at my left one at 7am. Seems they hit it and were successful, everything came out alright. Interesting event, I highly recommend it, especially if you have a large stone.
No thank you. Back in 1995 I had lipsotripsy to remove mine. Just thinking about it brings back the discomfort I felt when they removed the catheter weeks later.
Almost forgot. Glad you got through it okay.
JC,
I’m glad they exploded your stone, because they went in after mine and I do not want to experience that ever again!

I’ve been stoned like that in my life. It is one of those pains that you wil remember. I was willing to do anything and I mean anything to get those meds to stop the pain. Glad you were able to get blasted. When mine were large (I’ve had a bunch of small ones pass on their own) they had to do slice and dice to get them out. Glad science hs improved. Hope you feel better.

Happy to hear, that all went well, JC! Hopefully, now, that’ll be the END of the stones and no more procedures will need to be done!?!
I bet you have
From the instructions Jim’s surgeon gave me, I fully expected him to be in terribly shape tonight. He isn’t, (but I’ll let him milk it) and actually was hungry. I’m grateful - as usual.
