CAN’T GO HOME?

“Yes, you can. At least if ‘home’ happens to be in Montana. Maybe I should submit this to the Montana Tourism Department (don?t laugh; they actually have one, with the coolest photography library you could ask for). But really, this is about going home…”

I am glad you made the choice, if i can ever break these economic chains that bind me here in the northeast ,that is where i will be. It is the only place i truly love and can breathe, Best of luck, enjoy the 1 wt.:tieone:

One of my former coworkers always said that the answer to the old question “Can you go home again?” was “Yes, but understand that it won’t be the same, things have changed so you have to start with new memories of your old haunts.” A bit paraphrased, but the essence, anyway. After visiting my home town this last time, I have to agree, things have changed quite a lot in the 13 years I’ve been away. Personally, I don’t want to go “home” again, except to visit, but would only if it made economic sense to do so (i.e. a job promotion or something that was too good to resist). Otherwise, other than my family, White Castles and good pizza, there’s nothing else from my “home” town that I miss.
