In bass structure, with a jerk-strip move – something to make those legs pulsate. That’s how it worked for me. Along edges. JGW

Thanks for the nice simple howto. I sat down and tied up a couple (3, is that a couple or is that a few?). The only thing I did different is a put on a mono weed gaurd. Don’t know if it needs it or not, but I know it helped on the ones I used when I chucked hardware for bass.
Think maybe I’ll tie a few just like described and then maybe a few with weight on them. They’re kind of fun to tie
I came across something called Tentacles in the clearance bin of my fly shop. Extremely small rubber (silicone?) leg material. I’m going to try a piglet-boat. I know that it’s heretical, but what the heck it’s fun.

No, Fishlux, this is the Warmwater board, so you don’t have to worry about being heretical around here. We’re not proud, if it catchs fish and isn’t alive, someone’s probably already using it.
