Liljoe, I did not want to hijack your “Crystal Caddis” thread. I have been using a similar technique as you demonstrated, for a couple years now. Sizes 16 to 10. I have had very good results with the technique. Especially on Freestone rivers.
Fantastic flies DUB! I can see why the fish like yours so well! I’m looking forward to seeing how the ones I tied up will do. I’ve tied a few other variations as well, so it’ll be interesting. But again, superb flies sir!
