Sydney I Robenson an instutution in Canada for as long as I can remember is to be purchased by Cabelas.
S.I.R. has always been an excellent source in Canada of many fine camping,fishing,and hunting items that you just can’t find anywhere else.
Cabelas has good stuff, I like Cabelas stuff. But its just not as unique as the neat stuff in the SIR catalogue.
The article claims that they are still going to have the SIR stuff and the Cabelas stuff available in Canada and thankfully the SIR staff will all be retained in the Winnipeg store.
My concern is how long will it be untill SIR dissapears completely into Cabelas losing its identity completely.
I sure hope I’m wrong.
