Fred, some of us are starting to believe you are practicing some questionable scientific experiments in the swamps of southwest Louisiana. Cloning is different from tying. Corresponding with swamp witches make you look very guilty.
Magnificent job young man.
WOW! At first glance, I thought it was two Cabbage Loopers. I had to read your hint before I could tell that one of those was an artifical.
Beautiful job!!! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Uncle Jesse , much appreciated
Thanks Jim , I got lucky on this one.
If you left that lying around, you would probably catch some birds as well as some fish. I am hoping you are going to reveal part of the secret of the construction of this fly.
I too like Jim thought that there were two looper sitting there and was wondering why. Then read the caption and saw the eye. Wow! And this coming from a guy who sees literally thousands of these a year in my job. Thanks for the fly.
Beaver
I’d be tempted to spray it with Seven, not floatant. Nice job.

My favorite description of luck is - luck is a residue of skill.
Nicely done, Fred.

No luck to that one Fred! Nice Job!!! What size hook is that?
Thanks guys I really appreciate the comments. This is tied on a # 10 streamer hook.

Just terrific - the last time I fished one was in Michigan on the South Branch. The late JC and I were watching rising fish and trying to figure out what they were eating. Under some overhanging birch trees was the only place the fish were rising.
He figured it out, tied some up with green chenille and we were catching fish. Great fun!
Thanks LadyFisher , nice story as well.
