Yesterday I wanted to buy a 6’ cable to hitch a computer to a printer. Best Buy wanted $36. Radio Shack wanted $30. Office Max wanted $27.
The e-bay seller wanted $3.50 with free shipping.
If the cable I bought on the Net doesn’t work just fine, I promise to report back to you on it. Meanwhile, be aware that FAOL isn’t the only good thing you can do on the Net.
wait until you need to but a hdmi cable for hdtv! those big box stores want an outrageous price for a 3 foot cable. $10-15 online and works just as good.
I suggest asking around, people like me sometimes have the “file drawer full of unused puter cables” lying around. Every time we get any new equipment at work, we get extra cables and accessories and such, and it goes in a big drawer, where we dig through when we can’t find something.
