hi again, i am thinking of buying a 2 wt. flyrod combo for bluegill and such. but is only available with a 3 wt reel, was wondering is these would match up well?
Look at the reel’s weight & try it on your rod. My 6’6" 2 wt matches well with a Ross Flycast 1 reel that weighs out at 5.1 ounces.

that should be fine and most people like a little weight in the butt of the rod 
it should make the light rod more comfortable to cast with.
