I, too, would like to get a golden trout one of these days. Maybe if I remember to get a passport before next summer …
I did have a similar experience recently. A nice native and wild grayling down in SW Montana. Beautiufl fish. Just like yours, except a lot different.

Great golden. One of the biggest ive seen in pictures. One day ill have to leave the east coast for some of those beautiful fish.
