It’s almost noon, my chores are done, and it is 24 degrees outside. I think I’ll settle in with some cranberry bread, a pot of fresh roast Costa Rican coffee, light up the fireplace and STAY INSIDE! Supposed to be 7 degrees overnight tonight.
Sounds good to me! It’s raining here in Ohio and the temp is falling. Good Tying weather, can you pass me a cup of that Jo? 
That cranberry bread sounds good. I was going to go to some property and our cabin near Burns Oregon this weekend to sit by the fire and enjoy the quiet for the weekend. Glad I didn’t go after seeing the temp over there. Friday morning a cool -24. This morning -17.

Considering that it was nearly 70 a couple of days ago, this weather is hitting me harder than it normally would. I like the winter, but this schizophrenic weather over the last couple of days is really messing me up. Just give me some snow and all is well…
WE have the warmer air right now but the cold you have is on the way behind it,the weather has been wacko from warm to brrr and back and forth. Must say I have enjoyed the break with the warmer air…

The past three mornings it has been down to about -10F around here. Balmy this morning at +7F. Daytime high today around +22F.
But it has been cold over in Butte and Bozeman !!

steveks and I fished Hillsdale dock on the 1st and a couple buddies and I went to Glen Elder’s marina yesterday and sat over holes in the ice all day. Brought home 13 nice crappies myself, buddy and his dad wound up with 19 in their bucket. Buddy’s dad caught one that was right at 13"! Nothin like pulling slabs through the ice to warm ya up! We need to go to the county lake dock here soon and get after some fish.

I’d love to hit the dock, the trout stream (if we ever get any precip), or sit over an ice hole. Gotta plan ahead though, so I can keep the calendar open.
Just enough to become a multi-brazillionaire. Someone needs to get some O-scopes and see if they can get politician, news people and celebrities about cycles. Weather, wet, dry, hot, cold, it alternates. I just realized the problem with explaining it to them I was thinking weather examples, they understand blondes, brunnette, red heads. You know alternating cycles.
