BRF Callibaetis Nymph SBS

This one borrowed some genetic code from the Skip Nymph. Quick & dirty version, using butts from tail/shellback for legs.

hook - Dai Riki 060 #14
thread - Danville 6/0 tan
underbody - non-tox .020
rib - x-small wire gold
tail/shellback - pheasant tail
abdomen/thorax - dubbing tan
wingcase - tinsel silver
legs - pheasant tail butts

Part 1

mash barb; cover front 1/3 with non-tox

start thread, tie in rib, wrap to bend

dub thread/dub abdomen to 2/3 mark

measure (gap width past bend) some PT fibers; tie in (don’t trim butts)

rib abdomen; helicopter end, cover with thread

tie in tinsel

Part 2

dub thorax

pull tinsel forward; tie off/trim

divide PT butts, fold back/tie down, whip finish, SHHAN

trim butts
