Any of you ever fished the area?
My friend Jan is having his 50th
birthday party and retirement party.
He has invited me to come stay with him
there and celebrate and fish afterwords.
Any information on the area would be appreciated.

I am interested in the replies to this message too because my employer has people in Bratislava doing some extended market research trying to determine if it is the right place to build a factory. If that happens, I will likely get the chance to spend some time there. Our office is currently about 3 blocks from the Danube, but our people there don’t love fishing like I do, and they haven’t so much as walked down to the river and look for fishermen… like I would. I do know that the Danube does have a fish called Zander swimming in it. A Zander is like a walleye on steroids.

buddy says it is not uncommon to catch huge catfish and zanders.
