All you need is a swimming noodle, like the ones used for pools that sell for around 1-2$. That is a lifetime supply. Now say you need a holder for your sally hansens, You just cut a piece about 1 inch high and then cut a hole for the bottle in the center. The hole should be slightly smaller than the bottle to grasp the bottle tightly.
This prevents the bottle from tipping over and spilling all over your bench if you accidentally bump it and you can just squeeze the foam while you unscrew the lid. ( a plus for larger hands)
Use that green ‘florists putty tape’ to temporarily stick your head cement bottle to the bench. Holds it securely so you won’t knock it over, peel off when you want to move it, and doesn’t mar or stain.
As for the pool noodle, you can use whats left for making popper bodies…
I just stick my head cement bottle to my fly tying desk with a small amount of bees wax, available as a coating when you buy Gouda cheese at the grocery. Eat the cheese, use the wax shell for dubbing wax, etc. Also a very small amount applied to the mouth of your head cement bottle will prevent the lid from sticking. Wax has a thousand uses!
