Boston?

Boston,Boston, hmmmmm, now where have I heard that name. Oh, now I remember. They came to see the Chicago White Sox play baseball in the last few days.Had a senior moment but I knew I’d eventually remember.

Mark

Boston…aren’t they a rock band? I hear tell they have a baseball team too. Guess I can’t say too much as I am still a Pirates fan except maybe next year…

It’s a great day for fly fishing!

Boston’s fulla beans!
Mike

Guys, and I say this although not even close to being a R. Sox fan, ‘it’s not over til it’s over’.

Allan

As long as your not a Cubs fan Marco, you are ok. The White Sox look good, the Red Sox are in trouble, no Pedro. The Redbirds are up 2-0, good game by Mulder today, even after getting pelted with a line drive, tough dude, even for a former American Leaguer.
GO CARDS

That’s WHAT I got.

Not only am I a huge sox fan, but I have a pedegree to go with it being a fourth generation sox fan.

Anyhow, here’s a useless stat: The Saax ah 9-2 in elimination games since 1999. Therefore, the Chisox only chance is to close it out tonight, otherwise, the Saax will do to the Chisox the same thing they did last year to that overpaid, over-the-hill, over-rated, win-another-world-series-OVER-my-dead-body so-called baseball team from the Bronx.

Looks like the Boston Red Sox " caa is paaked" for the season.

Who’s next?? Bring it on!!!

Mark

Marco,
Sorry buddy, but I just hope to live long enough to see the Indians & Cubbies in a World Series…I love my Indians, but in that one, I would celebrate no matter WHO won!..There will be NO loser!
For this year…GO CARDS!!!
Mike

White Sox are the real deal, even in Baaaston, they took it to them. The only thing is that each year the Cards have to play some “feel good” story. Last year it was the “cursed” Red Sox, this year it will either be the Astros with Bagwell and Biggio getting old and the stros never have gone to a World Series before, then if they get to the WS it looks like the White Sox who of course haven’t won a World Series since the dawn of time. I know for people not from the midwest and especially not from St. Louis we have to listen to the announcers rag on St. Louis, which is ironic since Tim McCarver played with the Cards, and Joe Buck is a former Cards announcer with a deep history with the Birds, I think he tries too hard to not be biased and it comes off wrong. Anyway thanks Mike for being what seems to be the only other Cards fan here.
