Bobbing Threading without Threader

There’s a tip I didn’t know that I’m glad I do now…lol It will save me some frustration…:slight_smile:

You might want to reconsider the threader…sucking would be a quick first choice but it is not 100%.

I’m with duckster. I mostly suck, referencing a bobbin of course.:stuck_out_tongue: But, there are times with waxy thread it doesn’t work as advertised. It only takes seconds with the threader.
Some folks clean their bobbins so they’re nice and slick, but I don’t have the patience. Fishing or tying, not cleaning.

I use to do a lot of sucking up until I took a strand of copper wire from an old 16 gage appliance cord. Now all I do is fold the strand in half in any length and draw it through the bobbin stem. Obviously the idea came from using the copper strand for ribbing first.
